Installation guide
Use the QR code or manual values in your fulfilled order. The package's own activation instructions always take precedence.
Do not delete an installed eSIM unless support tells you to. Many eSIM QR codes can be installed only once.
Payment is completed and the supplier order is created.
The eSIM profile is added to your phone using QR or manual values.
The package begins according to its supplier-specific activation policy.
If no activation policy appears on the package or order, contact support before installing. SIM.Africa does not assume that every plan activates on first network connection.
Use an APN only when the selected package or fulfilled order supplies one. Enter it exactly in the eSIM line's mobile-network or access-point settings; leave username, password, and other fields unchanged unless the order explicitly supplies them.
If no APN value is provided, do not invent one. Start with automatic settings and contact support if the eSIM still cannot connect.
Increase the QR code brightness, remove screen zoom, use a second screen, or enter the manual installation values from the order.
Confirm you are in a supported destination, the eSIM is selected for mobile data, the package-required roaming setting is on, and any supplied APN is entered exactly.
Check SIM manager for a disabled line. If the eSIM was deleted, contact support with the order reference; do not repeatedly scan the QR code.
Restart the phone, toggle flight mode, select automatic network choice, and confirm the destination appears in the plan coverage list.
Open your order dashboard for the supplier instructions, then email support@sim.africa with the order reference if the issue remains.
